Justice of peace forfeited $3.9 million by not issuing warrants
My opponent, Glenn Bass, does not have a law degree or any formal legal education, and he recently told the Austin American-Statesman that he learns from his individual cases.
Our courtroom is NOT a place for on the job training. Real decisions are made that affect real people, including the youth of Precinct 2. You don’t want the judge “learning” when he makes the decision in your case, or the case of your son or daughter. We need a well-trained judge who knows the law and treats people fairly.
